A fresh green latte for warm days.
For 1 glass
Ingredients
- 200 ml plant-based milk
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- ½ tsp Aligma Spirulina Powder
- 1 tsp honey or agave
- A handful of ice cubes
Preparation
- Dissolve the matcha
- Put 1 tsp matcha powder in a small bowl.
- Add 2–3 tablespoons of hot water (but not boiling, about 80°C).
- Whisk with a matcha whisk or small whisk until fully dissolved and frothy.
- Mix the spirulina & sweetener
- Add ½ tsp Aligma Spirulina Powder to the matcha.
- Stir well until the spirulina is fully absorbed.
- Add 1 tsp honey or agave and stir again.
- Prepare the glass
- Fill your glass with a handful of ice cubes.
- Pour over 200 ml cold plant-based milk (such as oat, almond, or soy milk).
- Add the matcha–spirulina mix
- Slowly pour the green mixture on top of the milk.
- Stir briefly if you want an even color, or leave it layered for a nice effect.
- Serve
- Insert a straw, stir a little, and enjoy!
- Drink immediately for the best taste and foam texture.
