For 1 large shake
Ingredients
- 200 ml plant-based milk or water
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 scoop Protein powder (e.g. vanilla or neutral)
- 1 tsp Aligma Spirulina Powder
- 1 tbsp peanut butter or almond paste
- A handful of spinach (optional)
- Ice cubes as desired
Preparation
-
Add the liquid
Pour 200 ml plant-based milk or water into the blender. This prevents the other ingredients from sticking to the bottom. -
Add banana
Peel the ripe banana and break it into pieces. Add to the blender. -
Add protein powder
Put 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla or neutral) on top of the banana. -
Add spirulina
Add 1 teaspoon Aligma Spirulina Powder . This blends perfectly if it doesn’t stick directly to the blender wall, so placing it in the middle of the mix is ideal. -
Add nut butter
Add 1 tablespoon peanut butter or almond paste for extra creaminess and healthy fats. -
Add vegetables (optional)
If you want an extra green boost: add a handful of fresh spinach . -
Add ice cubes
Put ice cubes as desired into the blender. For a thick, cold shake: 4–6 ice cubes. For a thinner shake: 1–3. -
Blend
Blend everything on high speed for 30–45 seconds, until the shake is completely smooth and creamy.
Tip: If the shake is too thick, add a little extra water or plant-based milk. -
Serve
Pour the shake into a large glass or shaker and drink immediately for the best taste and nutritional value.
