For 2 glasses
Ingredients
-
200 ml sparkling water (well chilled)
-
150 ml fresh orange juice
-
20–30 ml fresh lime juice
-
1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (to taste)
-
½ tsp Aligma Spirulina Powder
-
Pinch of salt (optional, makes the flavor “rounder”)
-
Ice cubes as desired
-
Garnish: slices of orange/lime + sprigs of mint (optional)
Preparation
-
Making spirulina base
Put orange juice, lime juice, and honey/maple syrup in a measuring cup or shaker. Add the spirulina and stir vigorously until smooth. -
Tip against lumps
Optionally mix spirulina with 2–3 tbsp juice into a paste first, then stir that into the rest. -
Filling glasses
Fill two glasses with ice cubes. -
Distributing
Pour the spirulina base over the glasses. -
Diluting
Fill slowly with sparkling water (pouring slowly keeps the fizz better). -
Finishing
Stir gently once, garnish with citrus and mint, and serve immediately.
Variation (extra fresh): add a few thin slices of ginger to the glass, or use half sparkling water / half (unsweetened) kombucha for a more “mature” sour kick.
