Citrus–Spirulina Spritz (alcohol-free)

For 2 glasses

Ingredients

  • 200 ml sparkling water (well chilled)

  • 150 ml fresh orange juice

  • 20–30 ml fresh lime juice

  • 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (to taste)

  • ½ tsp Aligma Spirulina Powder

  • Pinch of salt (optional, makes the flavor “rounder”)

  • Ice cubes as desired

  • Garnish: slices of orange/lime + sprigs of mint (optional)

Preparation

  1. Making spirulina base
    Put orange juice, lime juice, and honey/maple syrup in a measuring cup or shaker. Add the spirulina and stir vigorously until smooth.

  2. Tip against lumps
    Optionally mix spirulina with 2–3 tbsp juice into a paste first, then stir that into the rest.

  3. Filling glasses
    Fill two glasses with ice cubes.

  4. Distributing
    Pour the spirulina base over the glasses.

  5. Diluting
    Fill slowly with sparkling water (pouring slowly keeps the fizz better).

  6. Finishing
    Stir gently once, garnish with citrus and mint, and serve immediately.

Variation (extra fresh): add a few thin slices of ginger to the glass, or use half sparkling water / half (unsweetened) kombucha for a more “mature” sour kick.
