Ingredients
- 250 ml (unsweetened) plant-based milk
- 1 tsp Aligma Blue Spirulina Powder
- 1–2 tsp maple syrup, agave syrup, or honey
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: frothed milk as topping
Preparation

Heat the plant-based milk
Pour 250 ml (unsweetened) plant-based milk into a small pan and heat over low to medium heat.
Let it warm up but do not boil — this keeps the spirulina vibrant in color and preserves its nutritional value. -
Mix the spirulina
Put 1 teaspoon Aligma Blue Spirulina Powder into a mug.
Add 1–2 tablespoons of the warm milk and stir into a smooth paste without lumps.
(This ensures a beautiful, even blue latte.) -
Sweeten and add vanilla
Add 1–2 tsp maple syrup, agave syrup, or honey to the mug.
Then add ½ tsp vanilla extract .
Stir well again. -
Pour in the rest of the milk
Now slowly pour the remaining warm milk into the mug while stirring continuously, so everything blends evenly. -
Optional topping
If you want a creamy finish: - Froth extra plant-based milk
- Spoon or pour this on top of the latte
- For a softer color gradient, you can mix a small pinch of spirulina into the foam
